THE GOSPEL AND THE CHURCH. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone...and to those who are of the...faith GaL6: 10
We could not have the best things of life for us and use the leftovers for seed The law of life decreed that the harvest reflect the planting.
Understanding that we are saved by grace should make us humble and more patient and compassionate in how we treat others.

RESTORING THE FALLEN. We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak Rom.15:1 The act of restoration must be done in a spirit of gentleness Gal.6:1
The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life Gal. 6:8
OPPORTUNITY AND RESPONSIBILITY. THE SPIRIT-LED LIFE OF LOVE IN THE CHURCH. Let us do the work of Him who sends us while it is day, because the night comes when no one can work.
John13: 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

BEWARE OF TEMPTATION. Gal.6:1 ...But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Gal.5: 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.1Cor.10:12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall

Rom.15: 1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves

WE SOW, GOD MULTIPLIES Rom.15:2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up

If the work be of God, He Himself will provide the means for its accomplishment.. The sower multiplies his seed by casting it away. E.G. White

And He who ministers seed to the sower will cause the seed to germinate and bear fruit unto eternal life. E. G. White

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom Luke 6:38

BURDEN BEARING. Matt.7: 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Gal.6: 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.

Finally, God calls us to bear the burdens of others because it is through our actions that God’s comfort is made manifest

Human friendship, in which we bear one another’s burdens, is part of the purpose of God for His people. John R. W. Stott

Galatians 6:2-5 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load.

WHAT ON EARTH AM I HERE FOR? Gal.5: 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope

Gen.15: 6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Eze.6: 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Ezek.36: 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

THE LAW OF CHRIST. Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
1Cor.9: 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.

Galatians 5: 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[a

...similar terminology with Gal5:14 suggest that “fulfilling the law of Christ” is another reference to fulfilling the moral law through love
Paul showed earlier in his letter that the moral law was not annulled with the coming of Christ.
Instead, the moral law interpreted by love continues to play an important role in the Christian life
Rom.7:21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me
Matt.11: 28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

JESUS' JACKET.Gal.2: 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me

Gal.2: 20..The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Eph.2: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Serve as Christ did. We were created to do good works. Anything we do, big or small, to enhance God’s kingdom, is valuable in His sight. Ralna

Let go and let God. “Jesus is enough for you. Look what He has done for me! ”Ralna Simmonds,

SOWING AND REAPING.  Gal.6: 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Paul’s point is that people may ignore God or even flout His commandments, but they cannot outwit God

Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

A modern equivalent is that we are free to choose, but we are not free to choose the consequences of our choice. James D.G. Dunn

We can rejoice that God has forgiven us of our sins and adopted us as His children.

We should capitalize on the opportunities we have now to invest in those things that will yield a heavenly harvest.

NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Salvation is free. This means that there is nothing we can do to obtain righteousness. Lilith Scarlett

Our works do not count in this equation. What counts is Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Lilith Scarlett, Mandeville, Jamaica

Then we will truly understand that without faith, righteousness is impossible. Lilith Scarlett, Mandeville, Jamaica

What are some of the “faith things” that we do daily? Lilith Scarlett, Mandeville, Jamaica, West Indies

CONCLUSION
It is because men sowed seeds of evil, that lawlessness, crime, and violence prevailed in the antediluvian world.

God gives sufficient light and evidence to enable man to distinguish truth from error. But He does not force man to receive truth.  E.G.White

SUMMARY. The indication of God’s presence among His people is in the Christlike spirit manifest within the church. It can be seen in the way forgiveness and restoration are extended to those who err, in how they help each other in trials and in intentional acts of kindness shared not only among themselves but also with unbelievers

Gal.6: 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.

THE HIGH NOTE. The book of Galatians closes with a challenging call to Spirit-filled living, Christ-centered giving, and love-filled sharing.
THE HIGH NOTE: When we accept Christ’s righteousness, we walk in newness of life. Dwain Esmond

Mat.28:20.And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.Eph5:9for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth

Phil.1:21 For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

1Cor13:2 and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing
